Our Mission:

The primary purpose of the Missouri State Council of the International Reading Association is to actively promote a higher level of literacy for all citizens of Missouri.

The role of the Missouri State Council of the IRA is to provide leadership to help the forty plus local councils throughout the state to achieve the purpose of the association.
