Reading over the summer is a proven way to help prevent the summer slide. Help prevent the summer slide at your schools by giving your students FREE BOOKS!!! Who doesn’t like to give children free books?

In compliance with the national Title 1 feed program, the Missouri REaD project is designed to improve student reading and literacy skills and foster parent engagement by providing books to children other than during school times. You can obtain FREE books to distribute to students at your school by completing a simple application. Applicants must be members of the Missouri State Council of the IRA.
